Business Discussion – Scenario #1
You talk to a business associate. You discuss ways to grow your business, mostly reiterating what you know already, is what you need to implement.
It is day one after this conversation. You find yourself in your office and more excited than anything. You are ready to take on the world.
It is day seven. You haven’t looked at your conversation notes and your haven’t implemented anything new because you are so busy catching up from being gone.
It is day thirty. You are dialing into your accountability call with the same amount of effort that you did a month ago. This is called a habit.
Let’s look at a second scenario.
Business Discussion – Scenario #2
You invest in yourself even when it doesn’t make complete sense to attend a company event.
You see people you admire. You see friends. You have amazing conversations. You get to be authentic and real around the people who understand your everyday life of building a residual income business.
During the event, you hear of new ways to build the business you haven’t thought of and much like the earlier conversation with the business associate, you hear what you already know that you need to implement.
Always at events, they roll out new products and new supporting ways to do business.
You have a choice to make:
1 Do you go back to the same old way of doing what you know or
2 Do you do things differently upon arriving back home?
Great questions and even better choice to make based on your WHY.
This is WHY events work:
1 They change your chemistry.
2 They change your experience.
3 They change your mindset creating hope.
When you have a positive, pleasant experience at an event, it plants hope in your heart and mind. Really what it does is revive the dream from within. Sitting in your office doesn’t do that.
Getting around success stories of people that are making it happen let’s you see it is possible for you too.
Events drive business and I encourage you to go, be fully present and come home and implement what it is you learned. Rekindle your fire and reason why and implement what it is you know.
