This is it, the last blog of 2016 with only a few days left of the year. This is the week that everyone is throwing around the word – resolutions.

Time for Accountability words on a clock face showing importance of taking responsibility for your actions or work

I am going to encourage you to be resolved in your goals and dreams and to put an accountability plan in place starting on Monday, January 2, 2016.

But before we look ahead, let’s review 2016. How accountable did you hold yourself for the commitments in order to achieve your goals? Were you self-motivated or were you looking for someone else to drive you in order to reach or compete with them? Were you accountable enough? Did you do enough activity to create your dream-come-true?

This is the most important question of all. Why or why not? This is vital to answer because if you don’t answer it, you’ll take that same resolve into 2017 and achieve what you did or didn’t in the new year.

If you let things slide? Why? What was more important? The thing is either your dreams and goals are most important or something else is. Be honest enough to answer what really took your time and attention if you didn’t accomplish all you wanted or said you would.

Were you on top of your plan of executing the things that needed to happen? Is it something  you have to do or can you delegate it going forward so it can happen?

Karen Van Cleve in her book End Overwhelm Now, she talks about the brain’s reaction to fear being fight, flight or freeze.  If you are behind on your commitments, what seemed to be your brain’s strategy? How would accountability have assisted you?

If you would like help being held accountable or mapping out a 2017 accountability plan, please comment below and I’ll get in touch to schedule a time to chat.

Happy 2017 to you all! Celebrating all you did and are in 2016!

Much Success! Have an outstanding day!!
