Time is your best friend if you treat it right and your worst enemy if you don’t.

When working with Network Marketers, I find that Time Management is a major challenge for so many. Mostly I find that this comes up with people who are particularly outgoing, gregarious, inspired, enthusiastic, and sociable. It is that part of their personality that wants to do everything and be everywhere. For those people and others reading this here are some tips to help you make time your best friend.

Identify 3 things that are a must to complete for that day. Get these completed first.

Give time a structure that you can follow. If you are the personality described above or find that you move between tasks without finishing them, create a block of time for each task. To better explain this I am including a Time Blocking Template(see below). Let me know if you have any questions. Follow the instructions. It will absolutely assist in making better use of your time. You will probably find yourself with extra time to relax, work on your business and not just in your business.

Keep Your Desk free of clutter. Like your mind, and time, your desk may have a tendency to become over run with the “thing” you must do. This pattern prevents being productive and effective with your time because each project will call you to work on it when you are already engaged and working on one task. By focusing on one project or task at a time you will find that you will get three times the amount of work done then you would normally by moving between multiple tasks. The reason for this is the time it takes you to adjust your focus from one task to another and then return to the original task. It is not about your desk being neat or clean, although these will probably be the side effect. It is about the stimuli you give to your brain.

How you use time is a pattern. If you are not satisfied with the results you are achieving then evaluate how you are using your time. Change your pattern.

Are you full time in your Network Marketing business or part time? Answering this question will make a difference on your choices of where you focus your time.

I am currently nutritionally feeding my mind by listening to the Anthony Robbins program called Creating Lasting Change. Day 6 talks about how the parts of our lives are made up of patterns. Learning your patterns will open another world of success for you. Notice your patterns of how you schedule your time and the effectiveness. Share what you have learned from this.

Have an outstanding day!!!
