Today, I ask you to pause and reflect on what the last 30-days of consistent action have brought to your life.
Now you are either having one of two reactions:
- You are thinking of all of the blessings you have received or given because of the commitments you made to yourself and your loved ones. You are celebrating that you are closer to your goal than you were if you had not tried.
- OR you immediate thought to yourself, well I didn’t do 30-days of consistent action and you are being hard on yourself.
Let’s talk about both reactions.
Celebration
If you had the first reaction, you are in a time of celebration. Now this might be for a moment or about a thing that you might do for yourself or even just a verbal pat on the back to yourself. The point is, you have done more than you were doing. Even if you missed a day, you didn’t meet your goal, or you DID! I celebrate you and your every commitment to work your business.
Lack
If you were had the second reaction, my first question to you is “Why”? Did you try to work business to your fullest capacity every day? Did you meet new people? Did you get uncomfortable? If yes, then you are just being hard on yourself and we need to shift your perspective that of celebration because you did a great job.
If you did not try at all to build your business or are highly discouraged with what you did do, then we need to look at your motivations. Why are you building? What do you want? What is going to drive you, no matter how you feel?
This is the thing about both reactions, you can start fresh – today. Dig down deep and look at why you do what you do. See if time to build your business is scheduled. Then, make it happen. If you build you business in 30-day sprints, you will indeed run farther than you ever thought you could run.
How will this positively impact your life and business?
Much Success! Have an outstanding day!!
