Do you remember getting a “do over” when playing with friends when you were growing up?
You would cry out “AGH I messed something up”, and you’d yell “DO OVER” and if they were understanding friends, they would let you try again??
Sometimes, in life, in business and in relationships we need a “DO OVER”! And let me tell you a secret that often most people don’t know…. we are allowed to have do overs, still!
Yes, even as adults!
Thinking back over the whole year of 2015, are there any do overs that you would have liked to have??? Write them down – be grateful for them- what did you learn about yourself- what did you learn about life. Take some time, grab a cup of coffee or tea and be gentle with yourself, get honest, but don’t get judgey or frustrated.
And then…. make a list of action items that would have made helped/made better/or improved that situation.
And then…. Step back and be amazed…
Guess what?! YOU probably just made a pretty decent goal list, with actions for 2016!
Did you know that less than 16% of people think of their goals, but then they don’t write them down! If you followed through with this exercise and what you wrote down can be used to develop your next set of goals than you are already part of the very exclusive 3%, yes that’s only three percent of people that write down their goals!!!
Good job you!
Much Success!!
Have an outstanding day!!!
