Are You a “SMART” Network Marketing Goal Setter?
If you are like most people, I am sure you set goals annually.
In fact, you have most likely immersed yourself into hours of workshops, podcasts or other experiences around goal setting.
You might have already made them “S.M.A.R.T” goals or have a strategic business plan in place or maybe you are more casual about it. To make your goal S.M.A.R.T., it needs to conform to the following criteria:
Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely.
Questions you may have asked yourself when you were setting your goals and objectives may have been:
- What exactly do I want to achieve?
- Where?
- How?
- When?
- With whom?
- What are the conditions and limitations?
- Why exactly do I want to reach this goal? What are possible alternative ways of achieving the same?
No matter the nature of the goals, or the formality of the setting methods, as business owners we know goals are important for the growth of our businesses, ourselves and the motivation of others we work directly with.
So, as we head into the final month of 2019, how are you doing at achieving your goals?

If not, maybe this secret goal setting step will help. In all the hours I’ve dedicated to sharpening my goal setting skills I’ve only ever heard this mentioned once, TELL PEOPLE.
Tell everyone what your goals are whether they are directly connected to them or not. The more people you tell, the more visibility you create around your goals, making you more likely to achieve them. You never know who might have that connection you need to accelerate progress toward achieving your goals.
