Being A Great Story Teller Will Significantly Increase Your Success In Network Marketing
Knowing how to tell a great story can significantly boost your network marketing business, but knowing when to tell it is also important.
Here are four types of stories great network marketers know how to tell.
The origin story. This is when entrepreneurs tell you why they created their business. How they got their start and what motivated them to hop on board. Oftentimes, this means recounting what they were thinking in vivid detail. This is the type of story they will tell everyone who joins their business.
Team and culture building stories. These stories include the battle scenes. These are the stories about how different people helped their business overcome obstacles. How they became a leader in their market. These stories are directed at future team members and organizational leaders after a few years in the business. This is also a good time for leaders to share their company’s values and what is expected of team members long-term.
The vision story. This is the story shared with partners, clients and investors. Founders understand they need a group of committed partners for their business to succeed. Language and vision is used to capture everyone’s attention. This story explains the current position of the company along with future goals. This is where you use your vision and personal energy to attract the best partners.
The succession story. This is the least liked story – the one entrepreneurs don’t always like to tell. It’s the succession and exit plan for high-growth entrepreneurs. This is when they explain it’s their time to turn over their creation to a new leader. Success comes from knowing when it’s time to let go. Great leaders pave the way for the next person. This is an ending, but also an exciting new beginning for the person taking over.
Telling a great story is a key element for so many great network marketers. You have to be willing to share yourself. To build partnerships and finally to set yourself up to make your exit.
Much Success!
Have an outstanding day!
