Since you ARE the boss now…
No one wants a boss, right? And, in this business, YOU get to be the boss.
Be kind to yourself, but also be firm in getting those action steps done.
Here are some steps weekly to be a good boss to yourself and get things done in your business.
1. Define a job description for yourself.
This is going to center around those action steps that you have laid out for yourself and the ways of working the business that you have chosen to pursue.
2. Have a weekly review.
Each week, on the same chosen day, do a review of the past week. Sunday is often a great day to do this to get ready for the next week. Ask yourself if you would “keep you” on the payroll based on your actions for that week. Ask yourself how you want to improve for the following week.
3. Set up an incentive plan for yourself.
How will you reward yourself for accomplishing the tasks you have laid out? How will you keep score? How will you rate “success?”
