You probably have a pretty good idea of what you think network marketing is.
So why 3 network marketing success tips?
Perhaps you think it is housewives selling Tupperware or a high-pressure sales person trying to convince you how easily you can be the next millionaire if only you and all your friends would buy certain products.
But, this isn’t the case at all. Network marketing is not a hobby or a get-rich-quick-scheme but an opportunity to earn money while running your own business either part-time or full-time.
But what does it take to be successful?
When you look for the right opportunity you should look for these things:
- Stability. How old is the company?
- Products. Are these consumable that customers will need more of?
- Pay plan. How even and fair is the overall distribution of pay?
- Integrity. Check out the integrity of the company and the management team. Investigate the CEO and his/her background and industry experience.
- Momentum and Timing. Look at where the company is at and if it is growing.
- Training and business systems.
Do they practice what they preach?
To succeed in this industry, you must be willing to listen and learn from mentors. Make sure that whatever your mentor did to be successful that it is duplicatable. Make sure you are willing to listen and be taught to follow their systems.
Evaluate the higher ups.
In other words, do you know your upline? Meaning the people above you. How supportive are they? Do they call you? Do they help you put a plan in place? Are they as committed to your success as they are their own? You should be able to call them and say, “I need help.” Support is always important.
