Think about the people you do business with.  Bank(er), insurance agent(s), dentist, doctor, massage therapist, security alarm company, car repair shop, gardener, financial planner or manager, hair salon. That is only 10 and I bet in your life there are several dozen more.

After you give them business do you hear from them? Do you receive a thank- you card for your business?  How would you feel if you did receive an acknowledgement from them?

That is the point, you probably would feel more confidence in that service provider, and you would feel appreciated and valued and become a raving fan and loyal customer.  That would be an enormous achievement for any service provider.

Are you taking the steps to thank your customers?  Are you thanking the members of your network marketing team for their work when they reach a goal?

Appreciation marketing… It’s developing strong, lasting, unique relationships with your most valuable asset, your customer.  It’s what keeps people “coming back for more”.  It’s an excellent way to shorten the traditional routes of building trust, create opportunities, increase valuable contacts, to achieve success and excel in business.” Anonymous

Have you found yourself thinking that I do not have the time to connect with the people I have met? The real truth is you do. And you cannot afford not to, this is one of the most important habits for you to create in building your network marketing/ MLM business.  You are letting your customers know they are valued and appreciated.

The successful professionals, champions in network marketing business make it a priority to write a card consistently. Your vision of success can include this too! Now would be the time to add this to your daily success action formula. If you are already doing this, congratulations! A skill you definitely want to pass on to your down line.

Include in this APPRECIATION card your feelings from the heart about your appreciation for meeting a new person, or for having received someone’s confidence in you with their placing business with you, or giving you a referral to even more business.  Especially at this time, send a written card.  Of course over the course of your relationship you will send them many cards and emails but that first card will stand out.

“E-mail is so easy to send, it’s perceived as being almost effortless. Not that this is a bad thing. But when you’ve taken the time to write a brief, handwritten, personal note… – now that took some thought, effort and time, and all of that will be greatly appreciated by the recipient, your new networking contact or customer.  Relatively little effort: huge potential payoff. “Endless Referrals by Bob Burg
