Everyone is on Facebook these days. It’s a useful tool for reaching a large audience and your target customer. But knowing how to break through all the clutter in the news feed is key to utilizing it for your business.
Be sure to use a recognizable profile pictures. It’s important for your clients to recognize your face as one they trust and know.
Don’t leave your company’s “about” profile blank. This is located right beneath your profile photo and is one of the first places potential customers will look for information about your home based business.
Coordinate your cover photo, pinned post and profile CTA to promote marketing campaigns. These three things are immediately visible on your page. Make your messaging match across all three features to maximize your marketing campaign.
Don’t use a dummy page. This is not a good idea and violates Facebook’s terms and conditions.
Tailor your posts. Facebook has a number of targeting tools that allow you to target your posts by age, gender, education, etc.
Don’t post too often. The last thing you want to do is annoy your customer base. Don’t overwhelm your followers by posting several times a day. Instead, spend your time creating a valuable, higher-quality posts.
Use tracking URLs and Facebook insights to analyze your page performance. Once you have these metrics, you can tailor your content to post more of what works.
Don’t forget about multimedia posts. Your content can generate way more traffic is you include visual elements and graphics.
Post during high-traffic times of the day. Research shows that posts made between 1 and 4 p.m. have the most traffic.
Don’t take too long to respond. Just like your information is posted in real-time, consumers expect fast answers to their questions.
Much Success! Have an outstanding day!
