What do you do when one or more than one or a whole team of people in your network marketing downline fall off the face of the earth? Really they didn’t fall off the face of the earth, they just quit working.

Know this – this is part of the process. Building a networking marketing business isn’t for the faint of  heart. You are one courageous entrepreneur! After all, people will say they will do things incongruently, than they say they will not do them. Why is this? Life happens. People get discouraged. Life happens some more. Someone is negative. More life happens. Their limiting beliefs show up. I could go on and on about the reasons why people don’t build their network marketing business.

This is my favorite part about it, I could list all the same reasons for why people do build their businesses.

When my distributors are MIA, I try to reach out. This could be in the form of a phone call, text, email or even snail mail.

The most important part of connecting with them is to show them that you care, regardless of what they are doing or not doing.

Your role is to be a caring person and let them know you are still there. The stronger your relationship with them the better, as you’ll often be able to say something that encourages them to stay on the journey.

Unless they ask you to not contact them ever again, keep trying them. Now, as a general rule, if you think you are calling too much or pestering them, you are. Many clients (or re-engaging people) have come through persistence.

Think about your life. You have probably had “on” time and “off” times. How nice would it have been for someone to check on you during an “off” time. Sometimes all we need is a little encouragement and love.
