Slow Down to Speed Up: Presence as a Strategic Tool
Your team doesn’t need more instructions, they need more of your grounded clarity.
During the holidays, your team takes on a different emotional tone.
They’re tired.
They’re trying to wrap up loose ends.
They’re balancing family, deadlines, and expectations.
This is when your presence becomes leadership gold.
Here’s how to bring presence into your business without slowing the momentum:
1. Replace urgency with clarity
Most year-end stress comes from unclear expectations.
Your team will move faster when you simplify their priorities—and remove anything that doesn’t truly need to happen before January.
2. Be the calmest person in the room
Presence reduces reactivity.
Your grounded energy helps your team regulate theirs.
One of your clients shared that the “mindset shift” she experienced brought her peace, confidence, and the ability to navigate major challenges, including merging her business with a long-time associate, because she learned how to approach decisions with calm clarity instead of emotional overload .
3. Lead with questions, not answers
Presence shows up in curiosity.
Instead of solving everything, ask:
- What do you recommend?
- What outcome are you aiming for?
- What would make this feel simpler?
You immediately shift them into ownership, and yourself out of being the bottleneck.
4. Protect your deep-focus windows
Presence is impossible when you multitask all day.
Choose 1–2 windows per day where you shut out distractions and commit fully to one task.
This week’s action:
Action Item: Cancel or delegate one meeting that does not require your live involvement.
Have an outstanding day!!!!
