There’s always an opportunity to meet new people – especially while on vacation. Whether it’s sitting next to someone on an airplane or waiting in a never-ending line, use the time to strike up a conversation.
It can’t hurt your network marketing skills, plus, if they’re interested, you’ve got a new client.Sara Work on Vaca
The super nice thing about network marketing is you can do it from almost anywhere, especially if your phone or other mobile devices are connected. Return emails or answer questions on your blog while you’re waiting for your flight to take off. You can send orders or complete transactions while on the bus to your destination or even while waiting for your food to arrive at your favorite restaurant.
Follow up with new acquaintances via social media. Send a friendly note and some information about your business if they’re interested. Be careful not to “push” them away. If you mention your business and they’re not interested, leave it at that.
Down the road, they may know a friend of a friend who wants more information and another connection is made.
Postcards are a great way to keep in touch with new contacts.
Of course it’s important to actually relax while you’re on vacation, so plan ahead. Stock up on blog posts and set them to post on specific dates. This way you won’t have that to worry about while you’re away.
The same goes for shooting videos or any other content you want to post while away. You can pre-schedule Tweets, LinkedIn Updates and Facebook business pages.
And, just because you manage your own schedule, remember it’s OK to disconnect. Especially if you have things planned out beforehand.
Much Success! Have an outstanding day!!
