So, how’s it going with your little business?
What you been up to, still working your business?
How’s business going?
These can be very annoying questions to those of us in networking marketing business who might not be doing exactly the task we should be doing to grow our business. Another one I’ve heard for many years in the industry, is asked to a specific company… Driving that pink car yet?
I’ve had to smile at my friends responses as she knows she is being mocked and yet trying hard to still be friendly.
Have you had questions like that? I am sure the industry is FULL OF THEM! And I’m hoping that we can all have a giggle together about them.
So is there a way to avoid those questions from your annoying doubting Uncle Thomas this holiday season? Yes, YES, There is! Of course you can fake a sickness for the holidays, dress in Christmas camouflage and hide near the tree all day or you can be ready for them and be ready to answer with holiday joy in your voice! How?
Make a plan of action, a goal you can work towards.
- I don’t care if it is hold an event every single week or call one person each week. Whatever your plan is, make it reasonable for your life and doable in the time you have allowed.
Now with that plan…. now do it! Every single time you said you would! DO IT!
Make the call, book the event, sell the thing…. Make a commitment to yourself and to your annoying doubting Uncle Thomas this holiday season so that you can be ready for those questions and say things like…
I’m doing great! I broke a personal best sales goal this season!
I’ve been working my side business regularly, so that I could (fill in blank) right now.
Business is good, I’m connecting with new people every …day, week…
Look forward to the end of the “new year” with excitement, and let me know what you want to see when you look back. And then hold onto your pants, because seasons come and go, but busy business times don’t have to! Keep the commitment to yourself going into quarter 1 of the new year and you just might be wowed!
Much Success!!
Have an outstanding day!!!
