I wanted to tell you about the huge learning I enjoyed recently when I attended the Anthony Robbins Business Mastery program in Las Vegas. I can use all of the normal superlatives: amazing, great, mind expanding, huge awareness, but I wanted to make it way more useful then that when we talk. I decided to reread my notes, which were plenty to say the least. I came up with a bunch of areas I wanted to cover and this is the first. Speaking Your Truth.

I participated in an exercise to tell someone what I do. To begin I thought about the facts that, I have been in Network Marketing for 7, almost 8 years. I have been in sales at least 3x that amount of time, or really my whole life if you include working at influencing a decision from anyone, may it be parent, boss or co-workers etc. I have told people what I do over and over again. This time I was asked to really dig deep and come from a place of truth and authenticity. What business am I really in? How would you answer that question?  Would you tell someone what your product is all about? Or would you tell them the benefits of the product? It was suggested that we dig way deeper then this. I did.

The business I am in is: I help businesses grow their business by 20%.

Working with my Business Mastery Team (the Winter Warriors) we wrote, listened and shared what are our businesses. Another truth that I crafted was I am in the dream achievement business. Wow! This one really shook me. Because that is what every person’s business in Network Marketing / MLM is.

We help people find the path to making their dreams a reality.

You ask “How do I come up with my truth?”

Start with these questions:

1 What business are you really in?  What business do you need to be in?

2 Why did you get into it originally? What did you get out of it?

3 Who are you? Who do you need to be?

4 Where are you?

5 What is next?

Answer these questions. As you answer them, you will find that they are questions your customers or distributors to be are asking. They are the path to understanding, to creating a strategy, to achieving dreams.

Now, when you meet someone networking or wherever and as a result of getting into a conversation and they ask you, “What do you do? What is your business?” You will have an answer that will absolutely have them wanting to learn more.  Test it. Experiment with it. The impact is amazing.

Do this exercise and share with us what is the business you are in?

Have an outstanding day!

Much success!

Sara
