The stories in your head are the stories of your life. The foundation of the stories are the questions you ask yourself.

Most of us were taught the 5 best words to find out information in asking a
question are:

And, would you agree that these are excellent ways to start a question with someone you are having a conversation?

When you find yourself having a conversation with yourself, I bet you start sentences with why?  Why creates a story that often leads to negative answers. Why can lead you to making up answers just to get a response in your head.  Why did I say that in my presentation? Why did I make that crazy choice?

This is called a Bad Question because it will only give you a bad answer.  Answers that stop you. What you want is a question that helps you move forward. That helps you gain constructive insights.

Creating a powerful question will give you good, strong, solid answers that will help you grow and grow your business and create a thriving story.

An example of a good question might be to follow up the crazy choice question:
How can I make an even better choice …..?  or
What would be an even better choice in this situation?   or
Who can I ask to get better information so I can make an even better choice?

When you look at these questions they leave out the element of judgement.
They focus on moving forward to support you in your growth. 

Notice the questions you ask yourself. Do they support you to be your best and get the best from you? When you hear a question that starts with why change the way you ask that question.
